Katie’s Hope Retreat

This coming Saturday, September 6th, we will be holding a retreat for the cast, crew, and musicians of Katie’s Hope. This is going to be a fun time when we can come together and get to know each other as a team, eat, and do an initial reading of the script. Everyone who is involved in the production is requested to come. Parents, especially of younger children, are encouraged to come as well.

  • WHEN – Saturday, September 6th
  • TIME – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • WHERE – Cedar Park Northshore
  • ADDRESS – 18737 68th Avenue NE, Kenmore

AGENDA

  • Introductions, orientation, and team building
  • Eat lunch
  • Read through, including music

For food we will be having a potluck and we are requesting everyone to bring something based on the first letter of your last name:

  • A-G – Salad or side dish
  • H-O – Dessert
  • P-Z – Main dish

There is a kitchen at the church that can be used for preparation, if necessary. Please bring any utensils needed for your dish. Also, please label everything you bring. Part of this time will be for working so please bring your script with you. If you haven’t picked it up yet, you may do so during the week from the church office at Cedar Park in Bothell. We will have the remaining scripts at the retreat if you are unable to pick it up prior to that date. Please also bring a pencil (not a pen) for marking in your script. Rehearsals start Monday and Tuesday following the retreat. We will have more details available on Saturday about the schedule and when you need to show up. RSVP Please reply (just to me, not to everyone) to tell me if you are coming to the retreat. Please also include how many are planning to come. To summarize, please bring:

  • Yourself
  • Food
  • Your script
  • A pencil

I’m so excited to get started and to work with you all. Katie’s Hope is going to take a lot of effort and team work, but it is also going to be a LOT of fun! Please be praying about the production, including all the details that go into making it happen, the people that are involved, and the people who will come see it.

Blessings,
